Operador II – Producción Manufacturera de Máquinas

About the role

We are seeking an Operator II to run a variety of specialized manufacturing machines, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met. The role involves set‑up, testing, minor maintenance, and reporting in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate special machines such as Fond Board, Moldeo, Riveteado, Branson, Desma, Cirris, Video Jet stamping, Plasma, Solder Post, and others according to specifications and procedures.
• Perform test equipment set‑up, including harness and fixture changes, and calibrate processes as needed.
• Use specialized measurement instruments to verify dimensions and product quality.
• Interpret technical drawings, product specifications, and machine manuals.
• Carry out assembly and testing operations following manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain production rhythm and meet test time requirements.
• Execute daily and weekly preventive maintenance, perform minor repairs, and assist maintenance technicians.
• Identify simple faults in test set‑ups, report equipment failures immediately to the supervisor.
• Prepare and deliver daily production reports covering performance, output, and yield.
• Support Lean/Six Sigma tools in the area (TPM, 5S, continuous flow).
• Participate in all required health, safety, and environmental training and comply with safety policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 60 hours of technical training in mechanics, electronics, mechatronics, or electricity.
• Technical secondary education in electronics, mechatronics, electricity, or related fields is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in machine operation or related production activities.

Required skills

• Operation of specialized manufacturing machines (e.g., Fond Board, Moldeo, Riveteado, Branson, Plasma, Solder Post).
• Setup and calibration of test equipment.
• Use of specialized measurement instruments.
• Interpretation of technical drawings and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of electronic circuits.
• Basic reading proficiency in English.
• Proficiency with PC and office software.
• Use of manual tools such as screwdrivers and cleaning equipment.
