Order Management (OM) Agent – Logistics

About the role

As an Order Management (OM) Agent you will be the backbone of our freight operations, ensuring shipments move smoothly from origin to destination. You will work closely with customers, carriers, and internal teams to guarantee accurate data, timely documentation, and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain smooth and timely freight process flow for import and export shipments.
• Enter and update shipment data accurately in the operating system.
• Track and trace Order Management files throughout the logistics cycle.
• Coordinate clearance and delivery of freight for import shipments.
• Send required documents and arrival notices for export shipments.
• Prepare and verify client and vendor billing.
• Interact with customers to arrange international shipments while meeting service standards.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, Operational Process Standards (OPS), and external regulations.
• Identify and suggest process improvements for greater efficiency.
• Maintain and update customer Standard Operating Procedures in DLSOP.
• Meet established KPI targets.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience or relevant training.
• Pro‑active attitude with strong organizational abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Understanding of ocean documentation processes is a plus.
• Hazardous Materials certification preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Hazardous Materials handling certification (preferred).
