Presales Solutions Architect / Consultant

About the role

The Presales Solutions Architect will lead the end‑to‑end OSS solution design throughout the pre‑sales cycle, partnering with sales leadership to qualify opportunities, develop proofs‑of‑concept and secure contract awards. This role requires deep technical expertise in telecom service assurance, orchestration and 5G network automation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full pre‑sale lifecycle from opportunity qualification to contract award, including RFx responses, solution design and Bill‑of‑Materials estimation.
• Design and present comprehensive OSS architectures covering Service Assurance, Service Orchestration, Inventory and closed‑loop automation.
• Demonstrate the Service Assurance portfolio (fault, performance, AI/ML‑driven anomaly detection, automated root‑cause analysis, predictive assurance) for 5G Standalone networks.
• Develop value cases and demos for SMO and RIC platforms (Non‑RT RIC, Near‑RT RIC, rApps, xApps, E2 interface) addressing use cases such as energy savings, traffic steering and massive‑MIMO.
• Lead technical proofs‑of‑concept, lab trials and solution integration tailored to customer KPIs.
• Author technical solution documents, high‑level designs, TCO/ROI models and compliance matrices.
• Act as trusted technical advisor in discovery workshops, executive briefings and stakeholder engagements.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, professional services and external ecosystem partners to deliver winning solutions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in telecom OSS/ BSS solution architecture and pre‑sales engineering.
• Strong understanding of 5G network components, Service Management & Orchestration (SMO) and RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) ecosystems.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into quantifiable business value.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior technical and C‑level audiences.
