Project Engineer II – Microsoft Cloud & Security Solutions

About the role

The Project Engineer II will deliver secure, reliable, and scalable Microsoft cloud and security solutions for clients in Chile. This position blends hands‑on engineering with full project ownership, guiding initiatives from planning through final hand‑off.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of client technology projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, quality expectations, and business objectives.
• Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Microsoft Defender, Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Purview, and Entra ID.
• Implement security and compliance solutions focused on endpoint protection, identity security, threat detection, monitoring, and data governance.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients throughout planning, execution, troubleshooting, and hand‑off phases.
• Support security improvement initiatives by applying configuration changes, security policies, and technology enhancements.
• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, including implementation notes, knowledge‑base articles, and as‑built records.
• Identify technical risks, security gaps, and process‑improvement opportunities, recommending effective solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to internal teams to enhance project delivery capabilities.
• Maintain strong project performance through accurate time tracking, high‑quality documentation, and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Technically skilled IT professional with experience delivering infrastructure and Microsoft‑focused projects in consulting, managed services, or client environments.
• Strong communication abilities and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and solve complex technical problems.
