Remote Data Engineer – Latin America

About the role

FullStack is looking for a Remote Data Engineer to join its talent network and work on U.S. client projects across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver data‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain large‑scale enterprise ETL pipelines and workflow automations.
• Write advanced SQL queries, manage relational databases and optimise NoSQL schemas.
• Integrate data solutions with cloud platforms and modern analytics tools.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable delivery of data applications.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, troubleshoot complex issues and improve shared libraries.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software or data engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail and ownership of work.

Required skills

• JavaScript and Node.js for backend development and automation.
• Advanced SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
• ETL design and implementation.
• PowerBI, Tableau, Jasper Reports or Talend.
• Databricks or Snowflake (highly desired).
• Apache Spark, Hadoop or Flink.
• Python scripting.
• Workflow automation tools such as n8n.
