Robotics Perception Architect

About the role

Join a global industry leader to shape the future of physical AI and multi‑fleet management for outdoor vehicles. You will work at the intersection of robotics, artificial intelligence, and real‑world hardware, delivering perception solutions that move beyond simulation into production.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the end‑to‑end architecture of robotics perception systems, including sensor selection, data pipelines, and real‑time processing.
• Design scalable, modular solutions that integrate computer vision, sensor fusion, AI/ML, Physical AI, and localization across edge and cloud.
• Translate business requirements into architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and technology decisions in collaboration with clients and cross‑functional teams.
• Establish AI/ML strategies for perception, covering model selection, data lifecycle, and deployment.
• Integrate perception components with navigation, manipulation, and planning modules, ensuring clean interfaces.
• Drive performance optimization by balancing latency, accuracy, and resource constraints in safety‑critical environments.
• Lead engineering teams through design reviews, mentoring, and standards enforcement.
• Explore emerging technologies, validate new approaches, and build reusable accelerators for the robotics consulting practice.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software development experience in C/C++ and Python, with at least 4 years in lead or architect roles.
• Hands‑on expertise delivering AI‑based robotics perception, computer vision, and agentic systems in production.
• Strong mathematical foundation and ability to design efficient algorithms.
