Sales Director – Infrastructure

About the role
We are looking for a Sales Director to lead the commercial strategy and relationship management for a key customer in the telecommunications sector. The role is mission‑critical, focusing on expanding our business footprint through high‑level engagement with the operator’s C‑level executives.
Key responsibilities
- Executive Relationship Management – serve as the primary contact for the CTIO, VP of Technology and Network Planning directorates, building long‑term trust and strategic alignment.
- Mobile Network Strategy – position and sell end‑to‑end wireless solutions, including 5G/6G deployments, Massive MIMO, Open RAN and Cloud Core architectures.
- End‑to‑End RFP Management – coordinate complex bidding processes with Pre‑Sales, Legal and Finance to deliver winning technical and commercial offers.
- Market Intelligence – monitor the client’s CAPEX/OPEX cycles to align our product roadmap with network evolution needs.
- Value Proposition – articulate the business value of our technology in terms of energy efficiency, total cost of ownership and network performance.
Required profile
- 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, managing Tier 1 accounts or holding decision‑making roles within major operators (ideally Entel).
- Established network of contacts in Network Engineering, Planning and Operations departments in Chile.
- Strong understanding of 3GPP standards (4G/5G), radio spectrum management and mobile transport architecture.
- Proven success closing multi‑million‑dollar infrastructure contracts with long sales cycles.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- B.S. in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering; MBA highly desirable.
