SAP Basis Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a skilled SAP Basis Administrator to manage and optimise the technical infrastructure of our SAP landscape. The role focuses on ensuring system stability, performance, and continuous improvement across SAP HANA, ERP, S/4HANA, BW and related environments.

Key responsibilities

• Review and implement system changes, design solutions, and perform performance analysis.
• Maintain service delivery within defined SLAs and project milestones, monitoring KPIs for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with functional, ABAP, infrastructure and SAP HANA implementation teams to resolve technical issues.
• Execute SAP HANA database administration, including upgrades, replication, and high‑availability configurations.
• Conduct disaster‑recovery planning, SAP SSO/SAML setup, and support specialised applications such as SAP Bank Analyzer and BW HANA.
• Manage CTS+ transport configurations and Solution Manager monitoring (ChaRM, ITSM, technical metrics).

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on SAP Basis administration experience covering ERP, S/4HANA, BW and BusinessObjects.
• Proven experience with SAP HANA, Solution Manager and high‑availability environments.
• Solid understanding of Linux (Red Hat, SUSE) and HA clustering.
• Experience with cloud automation, particularly GCP, and disaster‑recovery solutions.
