Senior Clinical Research Associate I – Sponsor Dedicated (Remote – Chile)

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate I to conduct on‑site and remote monitoring of clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trials both on‑site and remotely, verifying data accuracy and protocol adherence.
• Develop tools, procedures, and standardized templates for monitoring reports and site visit checklists.
• Contribute to trial design, protocol development, and methodological input.
• Guide junior staff, providing training, mentorship, and day‑to‑day oversight of trial activities.
• Document and report trial data promptly, preparing comprehensive regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as data management, biostatistics, and regulatory affairs.
• Identify and resolve data integrity issues and trial conduct challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in clinical research or a related discipline.
• In‑depth knowledge of clinical trial processes, GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with clinical trial management systems and related software.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or equivalent certification (preferred).
