Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Apply Digital is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure for containerized micro‑service applications. The role is remote‑friendly, with a preference for candidates in Latin America who can align with Pacific or Eastern Time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Design cloud infrastructure components (network, compute, storage, security) based on application architecture.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and manage resources on GCP, Azure, or AWS.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Apply deployment strategies such as blue/green and canary to ensure zero‑downtime releases.
• Lead automation initiatives and create deployment pipelines for all environments.
• Mentor team members on best practices and troubleshoot incidents as the subject‑matter expert.
• Enforce security standards and ensure compliance across infrastructure and applications.
• Implement monitoring solutions to track system health and performance.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles.
• Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms.
