Senior Project Manager

About the role

Plan A Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead software delivery initiatives. You will act as a strategic partner to clients and guide engineering teams, ensuring projects meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including SOW creation and approval.
• Monitor budgets and scope weekly, execute Project Change Requests to control scope creep.
• Identify and mitigate risks through regular meetings and documentation.
• Maintain project documentation according to internal audit standards.
• Collaborate with Development Leads and Solution Architects to translate technical constraints into business value.
• Serve as primary client contact, handling expectations and escalations.
• Prioritize requirements, maintain the product backlog, and ensure clear task definition.
• Conduct regular 1‑1s with team members, foster motivation, and resolve conflicts.
• Guide junior and mid‑level PMs on delivery processes and enforce compliance with corporate procedures.
• Support pre‑sales activities, contribute to estimations, and prepare proposal artifacts.
• Drive continuous improvement and identify automation opportunities within projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in software development.
• Proven background working in an outsourcing or agency environment.
• Strong ability to understand technical constraints and communicate them to business stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Experience leading and mentoring development teams.
