Senior Proposal Coordinator – US Federal (English Advanced)

About the role

GHD is seeking a Senior Proposal Coordinator to lead U.S. Federal Government pursuits. The role drives the full proposal lifecycle, from strategy development to final delivery, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements and delivering competitive bids for engineering, construction, and professional services contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage proposal efforts for DoD and other federal clients.
• Lead strategy discussions, kickoff meetings, and color reviews.
• Coordinate cross‑functional proposal teams including technical leaders, writers, marketers, and graphics specialists.
• Develop and produce proposal sections such as resumes, project descriptions, and management plans.
• Ensure timely delivery of compliant proposals while applying GHD branding.
• Lead interview strategy and manage interview production.
• Attend client pre‑proposal and debrief meetings, sharing lessons learned.
• Mentor junior Proposal Coordinators and Specialists.
• Collaborate with Capture Managers and Account Managers on priority pursuits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Business, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum seven years of experience leading proposal processes for engineering, construction or professional services firms.
• Experience with U.S. Navy and other federal agencies, including SF330 and Brooks Act requirements.
• Strong understanding of Federal Procurement and FAR regulations.
• Proven leadership, strategy development, and ability to work with technical leaders.
