Senior Sales Manager

About the role

The Senior Sales Manager will lead the development and execution of sales strategies for battery energy storage system (BESS) projects across all product lines, from residential to utility‑scale. Acting as the domain expert, you will collaborate with internal ESS teams and external partners to deliver optimal solutions and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement best practices for BESS projects of all sizes and market segments.
• Serve as the BESS subject‑matter expert, reviewing financial models and approving optimal project solutions.
• Define metrics and targets to continuously improve project delivery and track construction progress.
• Identify acquisition opportunities, new markets and present status reports to the global team.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events, staying abreast of market trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with key technology vendors, procurement, construction and EPC partners.
• Negotiate contracts with customers, partners, vendors, consultants and installation subcontractors to strengthen Gotion’s competitive position.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of business development experience, with at least 3 years in the energy storage sector.
• Proven track record in a startup or fast‑growth environment.
• Strong global experience and understanding of multicultural decision‑making processes.
• Excellent communication and networking abilities.
