SOC Operator – Security Operations Center

About the role

The SOC Operator will work on‑site in Santiago, Chile, as part of Griffin Risk’s Security Operations Center. This full‑time position focuses on monitoring security dashboards, detecting anomalies, and escalating incidents according to established procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor alerts from multiple security tools and dashboards in real time.
• Perform initial triage of security events, assess severity, and document findings.
• Escalate potential incidents following Griffin Risk’s incident response workflow.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in shift coverage to ensure 24/7 SOC availability.
• Support the rollout of new security tools, playbooks, and process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and prioritize security events.
• Understanding of basic security and cybersecurity concepts, common threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, keep detailed records, and communicate clearly.
• Reliability and punctuality for shift‑based, on‑site work.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills
