Software Engineer (C#, Python, FastAPI, WinForms)

About the role

Evalueserve is looking for a versatile Software Engineer who can bridge desktop and backend development. The ideal candidate will work on C#/.NET desktop applications, design Python‑based APIs, and integrate advanced Excel add‑ins, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C#/.NET desktop applications using WinForms.
• Design, build, and consume FastAPI‑based RESTful services (experience with Django/Flask is a plus).
• Write, optimise, and maintain complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database designs.
• Implement data pipelines using Dagster and DBT, focusing on raw‑SQL migrations and analytics‑ready data models.
• Create Excel COM add‑ins, VSTO, and Excel‑DNA components for seamless integration with desktop tools.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and ensure high coding standards.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline with 3–5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to balance technical excellence with collaborative teamwork.
