Sezzle is looking for a Software Engineer II who combines strong software development skills with a background in accounting. This mid‑level position will work in a fast‑growing fintech team, delivering innovative, interest‑free installment solutions for merchants and consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy backend and front‑end software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and document functionality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance and maintain fintech products.
• Ensure software meets coding standards, technical design, and performance metrics.
• Participate in testing (unit, integration, end‑to‑end) and continuous integration pipelines.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Prior experience or education in accounting, with a desire to apply domain knowledge to technical challenges.
• Strong analytical mindset (high IQ) combined with effective communication and teamwork (high EQ).
• Motivation to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and grow within a fintech company.
