Software Engineer – Infrastructure

About the role

Topsort is looking for a Software Engineer to join its Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for building and owning the core systems that power our real‑time auction engine, API platform, and internal developer tooling. This role is mission‑critical, ensuring that retailers and marketplaces receive fast, reliable, and fair auction results.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain foundational infrastructure used by all product and engineering teams, including compute, networking, deployment pipelines, and observability.
• Define and enforce Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and build proactive alerting systems to catch issues before they affect customers.
• Lead post‑mortems and drive continuous improvement of reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to scale the real‑time auction engine and API services.
• Develop internal tooling that improves developer productivity and operational efficiency.
