Spare Parts Logistics Analyst

About the role

The Spare Parts Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end inventory of spare parts, overseeing purchasing activities, and ensuring seamless coordination with headquarters and suppliers. The role combines analytical forecasting, procurement, and inventory control to guarantee parts availability while minimizing excess stock.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse spare‑parts purchase data to align with forecasted demand.
• Produce weekly purchase analyses to prevent stockouts.
• Handle emergency purchases and coordinate potential dismantling actions.
• Process inbound shipments of spare parts and update warehouse systems.
• Adjust inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
• Provide administrative support for supplier payments and import VAT.
• Coordinate with warehouse suppliers on shipment arrivals and import procedures.
• Manage the Spare Parts Material Master and maintain suggested sales prices in the system.

Required profile

• Relevant degree (e.g., Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or related).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in parts purchasing, planning, or procurement analysis, both nationally and internationally.
• Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers, manage imports, control inventory, and analyse associated costs.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong knowledge of import processes and local customs regulations.
• Hands‑on experience managing large inventories with thousands of SKUs.
