Technical Account Manager – Payment Gateway Services

About the role

The Technical Account Manager for Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS) will be the primary technical liaison for customers integrating with our payment gateway. You will ensure smooth onboarding, ongoing operational excellence, and proactive guidance throughout the customer lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and end‑to‑end support for Payment Gateway integration across diverse systems and platforms.
• Address and resolve incidents, production issues, and technical inquiries promptly.
• Keep customers informed about rule changes, new products, tools, and services.
• Conduct regular technical and operational reviews to monitor performance and compliance.
• Ensure customers understand regulatory requirements, Mastercard mandates, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with sales and business teams to convert leads into onboarding initiatives.

Required profile

• Fluent in English; Portuguese and Spanish are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong relationship‑building and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the payment industry.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
• Curious mindset with a desire to learn new technologies.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
