Technical Author – Multiple Roles & Seniority Levels

About the role

This position is offered on behalf of a partner company and is based in Chile. The role focuses on establishing and advancing technical documentation as a core engineering discipline within a fast‑scaling global tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and continuously improve high‑quality technical documentation for software products, internal systems, or business operations.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure documentation reflects system functionality and user needs.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured, and accessible content for diverse audiences.
• Help define documentation standards, style guides, and best practices across teams.
• Engage with users, open‑source communities, and internal teams to gather feedback and improve documentation relevance.
• Support and encourage contributions from engineers and cross‑functional members.

Required profile

• Strong experience in technical writing, software documentation, or engineering‑adjacent roles.
• Background in software development or solid familiarity with engineering tools and workflows.
• Excellent written communication with a focus on clarity, precision, and consistency.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to understand and explain complex technical systems.
