Accounts Payable Manager – Remote

About the role

Passport Global is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead its AP function in a high‑growth international logistics environment. The role combines full‑cycle AP ownership with hands‑on involvement in month‑end close activities, supporting the company’s rapid expansion across borders.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end accounts payable: invoice processing, approval coordination, and vendor communications.
• Review and record freight and operational vendor invoices for accuracy in the correct accounting period.
• Contribute to month‑end close: AP‑related reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
• Monitor vendor balances, perform statement reconciliations, and resolve credit discrepancies promptly.
• Manage corporate card expense compliance, ensuring coding accuracy, receipt enforcement, and policy adherence.
• Oversee vendor onboarding and maintain accurate vendor records.
• Supervise one AP Coordinator and collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Commercial teams.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of full‑cycle accounts payable experience with true end‑to‑end ownership.
• 2–4 years of supervisory or team‑lead experience in AP.
• Fluent English (written & spoken) and based in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Costa Rica, Honduras or Jamaica.
• Ability to work an 8‑hour shift within US Pacific or Central business hours.

Required skills

• U.S. GAAP fundamentals.
• Month‑end close activities: reconciliations, journal entries and accruals.
• Vendor balance monitoring and statement reconciliation.
• Corporate card expense compliance and policy enforcement.

• Monthly compensation USD 2,950 – 3,125 (based on experience).
