About the role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive market expansion for a leading international consumer goods group in the stationery and office supplies sector. The role is remote‑based in Santiago, Chile, with occasional travel to Argentina, and focuses on building distributor and channel partnerships across both countries.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development plans for Chile and Argentina aligned with regional objectives.
- Identify, negotiate with, and onboard distributors, wholesalers, office‑supply dealers, and retail partners.
- Maintain long‑term relationships with channel partners to ensure sustainable sales growth.
- Coordinate with regional and global teams to ensure smooth commercial, logistics, and operational execution.
- Monitor sales targets, inventory turnover, market feedback, and partner performance, providing regular reports and insights.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 + years of experience in business development, channel sales, distributor management, or key‑account development.
- Experience in stationery, office supplies, school supplies, office equipment, or related consumer‑goods distribution is preferred.
- Strong understanding of distributor, wholesaler, dealer, and retail channel structures in Chile, Argentina, or broader Latin America.
- Fluent Portuguese; good English; Spanish highly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Chile and to Argentina.
