Contracts Manager

About the role

CSI is looking for a Contracts Manager to lead contract management activities on a large‑scale infrastructure project. The role involves overseeing the full contract lifecycle and supporting the execution of complex construction operations in demanding environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from procurement support to contract administration and close‑out.
• Negotiate and draft contracts using international forms such as FIDIC, NEC, or bespoke agreements.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks while ensuring compliance with project objectives and corporate standards.
• Coordinate closely with project, legal, procurement, and construction teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Law, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of contract management experience in Chile or the LATAM market, preferably in mining, mission‑critical, or high‑risk projects.
• Familiarity with Chilean construction regulations and labor laws.
• Professional communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Strong procurement, negotiation, and contract administration capabilities.
• Experience with international contract forms (FIDIC, NEC, bespoke).
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and regulatory frameworks.
