Desk Side Support Engineer – Onsite IT Support

About the role

NSC Global is seeking a Desk Side Support Engineer to join its onsite support team. In this role you will be the first point of contact for end‑users, resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site technical assistance and exceptional customer service to end users.
• Monitor daily service call activity, inventory levels and service‑level agreements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network problems while maintaining documented processes.
• Configure and support internal systems, including connectivity and high‑end equipment.
• Document all interactions in the designated CRM tool and adhere to company policies.
• Collaborate with logistics, follow assigned schedules and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, printers and mobile devices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems, Office 365 and common software applications.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting networking, wireless and VPN features on end‑user devices.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange and Apple OS environments.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, OEM vendor certifications (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Lexmark, IBM), MCITP or MOS.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal) and the local language.
