DevOps Engineer – Cloud Automation (LATAM)

About the role

Deel is looking for a DevOps Engineer with a passion for automation and next‑generation infrastructure to support its rapidly growing SaaS platform across Latin America. You will play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining highly available cloud services that power global payroll and HR solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Work with AWS services such as Kubernetes (EKS), S3, PostgreSQL, and DocumentDB.
• Manage production deployments on AWS EKS, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Design and develop CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Enhance system stability, availability, and performance in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot microservices and associated databases.
• Implement monitoring and observability tools to detect and resolve production issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability, or cloud engineering.
• Strong background in automating infrastructure and managing large‑scale SaaS environments.
• Proven ability to improve production reliability and operational efficiency.
