Finance Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Operations Manager to own day‑to‑day financial processes at Globaltize, a remote‑first recruitment and staffing agency. The role combines bookkeeping, billing, payroll coordination and financial reporting to keep the business running smoothly and support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, ensure accurate and timely client invoicing.
• Monitor outstanding invoices, failed payments, overdue balances and follow up on collections.
• Reconcile billing activity in Stripe and maintain clean books in QuickBooks Online.
• Perform monthly reconciliations, categorization and prepare financial reports.
• Support payroll tracking, contractor payments and internal compensation calculations.
• Assist with revenue, payroll cost, cash‑flow and margin forecasting.
• Build and maintain finance dashboards, spreadsheets and reporting systems.
• Review client billing, subscriptions, refunds, credits and resolve payment issues.
• Identify financial errors, missed charges and process gaps, and suggest improvements.
• Provide light CFO‑level analysis to leadership and collaborate with sales, operations, recruiting and client success teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, finance operations, accounting or accounts receivable.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and proactive problem‑solving.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• QuickBooks Online (QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred).
• Stripe billing and payment tracking.
• Payroll systems and contractor payment processing.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Financial dashboard creation and reporting.
