Freelance Quantum Research Scientist (Python)

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Quantum Research Scientist with strong Python skills to design and deliver computational physics problems for AI training projects. The work is project‑based, remote, and focuses on creating realistic, research‑oriented challenges for AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational physics problems that mimic real research workflows.
• Create Python‑based tasks using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and SymPy.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within days or weeks.
• Develop problem sets across mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
• Base challenges on genuine research questions or practical physics applications.
• Validate solutions with Python and standard physics simulation libraries.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Physics (theoretical, experimental, or computational) or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in research, applied physics, or teaching.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1+).
• Creative thinking and ability to translate research problems into computational tasks.
