IT Business Analyst – Operational Analyst

About the role

GM Financial is seeking an IT Business Analyst (Operational Analyst) to partner with business and IT stakeholders across assigned branches. The role focuses on managing engagement, handling escalations, and delivering end‑user support while driving continuous improvements in the support model.

Key responsibilities

• Manage business engagement with key stakeholders for assigned branches, including new initiatives and feedback on IT support delivery.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for end‑user support (EUS) processes and new engagement requirements.
• Maintain regular stakeholder meetings with local business leaders and the country IT manager.
• Identify and propose IT improvements within the EUS support model.
• Provide ad‑hoc project support such as UAT, office moves, and deep‑dive analysis/reporting.
• Deliver advanced onsite IT support and technical/process training to branch teams.
• Support GM Financial policies, central EUS processes, and coordinate project deployments.
• Conduct ticket analysis, reporting, quality and control assessments.
• Assist with User Access Management/EAC, Sailpoint automation, and Employee Self Service development projects.

Required profile

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience handling IT escalations and providing advanced support.
• Analytical mindset with ability to produce detailed reports and insights.
• Ability to coordinate projects and deliver training to end users.
• Familiarity with corporate IT policies and standards.
