Junior Mobile Engineer – Chile

About the role

Sezzle is looking for a motivated Junior Mobile Engineer to join its fast‑growing fintech team in Chile. You will work on a cross‑platform mobile app built with React Native and help shape the experience for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new features for a TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
• Manage releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app‑store infrastructure to ensure safe rollouts.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to align on requirements.
• Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code.
• Gain deep knowledge of the application, data domain, and key performance indicators.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional mobile development experience, including at least 6 months with React Native or a similar framework (e.g., Flutter).
• Experience publishing apps to Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Strong familiarity with modern frontend development using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
