Local IT Administrator (IT Support)

About the role

VEKA Chile, a leading producer of PVC profiles for windows and doors, is seeking a Local IT Administrator to ensure the smooth operation of its IT environment at the Quilicura site. The role combines hands‑on technical support with collaboration across the global IT team to drive digitalisation and maintain compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level user support and on‑site troubleshooting.
• Administer Windows client environments, including updates, patches, registry settings, certificates and deployments via Microsoft Intune.
• Maintain accurate user data in the Identity Management system and manage onboarding/off‑boarding processes.
• Work with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, SharePoint) and, when needed, SAP Business One for user permissions and add‑ons.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects to improve business processes within SAP Business One and support digitalisation initiatives.
• Follow ITIL‑based service management processes for incident handling and request fulfilment.
• Perform basic networking tasks such as switch and access‑point replacement and interpret infrastructure diagrams.
• Support local infrastructure compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Train employees on IT tools and act as a digital ambassador.

Required profile

• Technical education or equivalent IT background.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications; experience with SAP Business One is a plus.
• Knowledge of local IT regulations and basic networking concepts.
• Willingness to travel abroad approximately once per year for training.
