About the role
As a Looker Sales Specialist you will drive growth of Google Cloud’s Looker business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. You will help customers realize business value, demonstrate product functionality, and showcase key use cases across data and analytics.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor and subject‑matter expert, managing the full sales cycle and influencing long‑term account direction.
- Achieve quota and exceed growth targets while accurately forecasting and reporting territory performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Customer Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Channels—to develop go‑to‑market strategies, generate pipeline, and close agreements.
- Identify solution use cases, drive adoption, and ensure customer success, expansion, and renewal.
- Leverage partner ecosystems and internal resources to inventory existing software estates and build transformation cases.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 7 years of enterprise software or cloud sales experience, with a focus on business intelligence technologies.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and developing territories or accounts from scratch.
- Experience managing executive relationships and driving long‑term customer success.
