Network Engineer – Dispatch (Richmond, BC)

About the role

This dispatch‑based Network Engineer position supports the Richmond, BC client site on an as‑needed basis. You will provide first‑ and second‑level technical assistance while coordinating service requests and ensuring rapid issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Install, replace, and troubleshoot network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls and access points.
• Rack and stack network equipment and perform cable patching, labeling and basic cable management.
• Conduct hands‑and‑feet support for remote network teams and perform site readiness checks.
• Triaging tickets, prioritising tasks and maintaining clear communication between IT and end users.
• Follow client SOPs and safety guidelines while using personal tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Field Network Technician.
• Ability to respond to dispatch requests during standard business hours and reliable transportation to client sites.
• Professional communication and reporting skills.

Required skills

• LAN/WAN fundamentals.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of switches, routers, firewalls and access points.
• Network installation, rack‑and‑stack and cable management.
• Windows 11 and Microsoft Intune migration experience.
