About the role

We are seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join our primary school and inspire young learners through engaging music lessons. The successful candidate will create a supportive environment where children develop musical skills, confidence, and a love for the arts.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lesson plans and activities aligned with the primary curriculum.
• Provide engaging, age‑appropriate instruction in music theory, singing, and instrument basics.
• Assess student progress, maintain records, and communicate outcomes to parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music across subjects and support school events.
• Uphold safeguarding, health, and safety standards in all classroom activities.

Required profile

• Degree in education, music education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification and experience in primary/elementary education.
• Strong classroom management and ability to motivate young learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in planning and delivering music lessons for primary students.
• Ability to assess and monitor student learning.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child‑welfare policies.
