Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care

About the role

Join NHS Lanarkshire as a Registered Nurse in Ambulatory Care, working within a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs and develop high‑quality care programmes. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position delivering care across rural and urban communities.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate patient care programmes.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team.
• Apply and adhere to national and local policies, legislation and clinical standards.
• Supervise and demonstrate procedures to registered, unregistered staff and student nurses when required.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
• Strong team‑working ability and capacity to work independently.
• Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment.
