Senior Software Engineer — AI Code Ranking

About the role

We are looking for senior‑level software engineers to help shape the next generation of AI that writes code. In this fully remote, flexible contract role you will evaluate and rank AI‑generated code, providing the training signal that teaches AI systems what makes code great.

Key responsibilities

• Compare pairs of AI‑generated code solutions and rank them based on correctness, efficiency, readability and best‑practice adherence.
• Verify functional accuracy across standard and edge cases.
• Identify bugs, logic errors, security issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Write clear, structured justifications for each ranking decision.
• Work across multiple programming languages and problem domains, from algorithms to system design.
• Complete task‑based assignments independently on your own schedule.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in at least two of the following languages: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Go, Rust.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures and computational complexity.
• Extensive experience in code review and ability to articulate quality differences.
• Deep knowledge of clean‑code principles, design patterns, testing and performance optimisation.
• Excellent written communication and self‑motivation for independent work.
