Staff Nurse – Outpatient IV Therapy

About the role

We are looking for an organised, self‑motivated Staff Nurse to join a small multidisciplinary team in an outpatient ambulatory unit. The role involves delivering daily IV antibiotics and providing ongoing review and care for patients across multiple specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Administer IV medication, including preparation and delivery of daily antibiotics.
• Perform phlebotomy, cannulation and venepuncture.
• Provide PICC line and Midline line care.
• Assess and manage wounds, applying up‑to‑date dressings.
• Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems.
• Collaborate with GPs, podiatry, admission units and other health boards for referrals and follow‑up.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Commitment to flexible, seven‑day service delivery.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to join the PVG Scheme.
