Sterile Processing Technician – Instrument Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support surgical teams by preparing, monitoring, and sterilizing instruments used in operative procedures. The role ensures that all equipment meets strict safety and cleanliness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist physicians by providing the appropriate surgical instruments during operations.
• Monitor and record PAR (Processing, Assembly, and Repair) levels for all instruments and supplies.
• Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments according to hospital protocols.

Required profile

• Graduate of an approved Operating Room Technical School (certification preferred) or at least one year of relevant on‑the‑job experience.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Required skills

• PAR level monitoring.
• Instrument cleaning and sterilization techniques.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support knowledge.
