About the role
We are a global engineering technology company expanding our footprint in Chile. We are looking for a Country Manager to lead business development and sales for large‑scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on the railway sector and other industrial initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead business development and sales activities across Chile, identifying new opportunities and managing long‑cycle sales processes for major infrastructure projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities, representing the company in commercial meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Support market expansion, especially in the railway sector, and take ownership of additional growth segments.
- Maintain a strong field presence with frequent travel to project sites and customers while collaborating closely with headquarters and global teams.
- Coordinate between commercial, technical, and operational stakeholders, providing market insights, competitive intelligence, and feedback to leadership.
Required profile
- Engineering background (civil, infrastructure, or related discipline).
- 3‑5 years of experience in railway construction, ports, airports, or industrial projects.
- Proven capability and strong interest in business development and sales.
- Experience handling long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- High level of independence, ownership, and accountability.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work extensively in the field.
