About the role

This fixed‑term/secondment position supports the Intensive Care Unit by ensuring a safe, organised, and efficient clinical environment. The Housekeeper works closely with the nursing team to relieve non‑clinical workload and enhance patient care.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment in the ICU.
Monitor and replenish stock levels of consumables and equipment.
Prepare admission and clinical packs for patients.
Provide support to patients' relatives and assist with clerical duties.
Carry out environmental tasks that free up HCSWs and registered nurses for clinical work.

Required profile

Friendly, organised and proactive with strong communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Willingness to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
