Band 2 Housekeeper – ICU (Fixed‑Term/Secondment)

About the role
This fixed‑term/secondment position supports the Intensive Care Unit by ensuring a safe, organised, and efficient clinical environment. The Housekeeper works closely with the nursing team to relieve non‑clinical workload and enhance patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment in the ICU.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels of consumables and equipment.
- Prepare admission and clinical packs for patients.
- Provide support to patients' relatives and assist with clerical duties.
- Carry out environmental tasks that free up HCSWs and registered nurses for clinical work.
Required profile
- Friendly, organised and proactive with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
