Healthcare Support Worker – ENT Head & Neck Unit (Part‑time)

About the role

This part‑time position supports the ENT Head & Neck Unit within NHS Fife. The role is based in a busy surgical environment that includes both inpatient wards and outpatient clinics, with occasional rotation across the Surgical Directorate.

Key responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with patient care activities, ensuring safety and confidentiality.
• Support the smooth operation of outpatient clinics and surgical lists.
• Maintain clean and well‑stocked clinical areas.
• Participate in mandatory training and any additional development required for the unit.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality and NHS values.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, acute hospital setting.
• Willingness to undergo PVG registration and pre‑employment checks.
