About the role

This part‑time position supports the ENT Head & Neck Unit within NHS Fife. The role is based in a busy surgical environment that includes both inpatient wards and outpatient clinics, with occasional rotation across the Surgical Directorate.

Key responsibilities

Assist nursing staff with patient care activities, ensuring safety and confidentiality.
Support the smooth operation of outpatient clinics and surgical lists.
Maintain clean and well‑stocked clinical areas.
Participate in mandatory training and any additional development required for the unit.

Required profile

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality and NHS values.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, acute hospital setting.
Willingness to undergo PVG registration and pre‑employment checks.
