Human Resources Coordinator (Remote – US Employees)

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support day‑to‑day HR operations for our U.S. workforce. This full‑time, remote position is based in Santiago or Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and will work closely with employees and leaders across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily HR administrative activities for U.S.-based staff, including record‑keeping, documentation, and reporting.
• Maintain accurate electronic personnel files and ensure HR systems reflect current employee information.
• Serve as the first point of contact for routine HR inquiries, providing timely and professional responses.
• Assist with onboarding new hires and off‑boarding departing employees, managing checklists, documentation, and system access.
• Support employee engagement, recognition initiatives, and help employees navigate HR policies, benefits, and resources.
• Track employee changes such as promotions, transfers, leaves, and terminations.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months of experience in HR administration, recruiting coordination, or a related function.
• Relevant coursework or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a similar field.
• Experience supporting U.S. employees is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, or applicant tracking systems.
• Familiarity with HR technology platforms.
