Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will be the sole on‑site HR professional for RESTO Athletic’s manufacturing plant, overseeing all day‑to‑day HR activities and ensuring compliance with Dominican labor regulations. Reporting to the Plant Manager and supported by Corporate HR in the United States, this role requires independent decision‑making and strong partnership with plant leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment for hourly, technical and staff positions, including job postings, screening, interviewing and offer coordination.
• Coordinate pre‑employment documentation in line with Dominican law and company policy, and lead new‑hire onboarding, orientation and safety induction.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions, workplace conflicts and disciplinary actions, ensuring alignment with local labor code.
• Maintain compliance with the Dominican Labor Code, TSS registrations, INFOTEP contributions and statutory benefits such as bonuses, vacation and paid leave.
• Collaborate with local payroll providers to guarantee accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Administer employee benefits, keeping both legally mandated and company‑provided offerings up to date.
• Prepare HR data and reports on headcount, turnover and absenteeism for Corporate HR.
• Deliver corporate‑provided training materials, adapting and translating them as needed for the plant.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling full‑cycle HR functions in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of Dominican labor legislation, including contracts, termination procedures and severance calculations.
• Ability to work autonomously while knowing when to involve Corporate HR on complex matters.
• Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
