About the role
The Inside Sales Representative will drive revenue by selling Hitachi Vantara’s data‑focused solutions remotely. Working from Santiago, you will prospect, qualify, and close deals using phone, email and virtual meetings, supporting customers across various industries.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and engage new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails and social selling.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on business needs, budget and decision‑making authority.
- Present products and services virtually, clearly communicating value propositions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through closing.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline activity in CRM systems.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and activity metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing, account management and customer success teams.
- Stay up‑to‑date on product knowledge, pricing, competitors and industry trends.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT sales, inside sales or technology‑focused sales roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle objections and close deals remotely.
- Results‑driven mindset with strong time‑management and organization skills.
Required skills
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Experience using Salesloft.
