Lead Data Software Engineer (Python+Azure)

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Data Software Engineer to design and build scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role blends technical leadership with hands‑on development of data pipelines and processing workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud‑based data solutions on Azure.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Architect data processing workflows with Databricks and Azure services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into technical designs.
• Provide mentorship and code‑review guidance to engineering teammates.
• Ensure code quality through best‑practice enforcement and standards.
• Optimize performance of data workflows and storage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
