Mid-Level Golang Engineer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Golang Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on project‑based assignments. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Go services using idiomatic package design, goroutines, channels, and context.
• Design, implement, and operate distributed systems and message‑broker integrations (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS).
• Build and deploy containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, writing manifests and troubleshooting live environments.
• Create RESTful and gRPC APIs and establish testing patterns for the team.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Tekton, Argo, Jenkins X, Spinnaker, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Work with major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) on compute, networking, and load‑balancing tasks.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands‑on Go development, including Go modules and the standard testing toolchain.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Production experience designing distributed systems and operating message brokers.
• Strong fundamentals in concurrency, parallelism, and synchronization.
