About the role

Join NHS Lanarkshire’s multidisciplinary oncology team as a Registered Nurse. You will assess patient care needs, develop and implement care programmes, and ensure high‑quality treatment for individuals with cancer.

Key responsibilities

Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate patient care programmes.
Maintain effective communication with patients, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Apply national and local policies, legislation and ward protocols.
Supervise and demonstrate procedures to registered, unregistered staff and student nurses as required.

Required profile

Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
Strong team‑working ability and capacity to work independently.
Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment.
