Registered Nurse – Oncology

About the role
Join NHS Lanarkshire’s multidisciplinary oncology team as a Registered Nurse. You will assess patient care needs, develop and implement care programmes, and ensure high‑quality treatment for individuals with cancer.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate patient care programmes.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Apply national and local policies, legislation and ward protocols.
- Supervise and demonstrate procedures to registered, unregistered staff and student nurses as required.
Required profile
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Strong team‑working ability and capacity to work independently.
- Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment.
