Counsel, Product & Commercial – South Cone

About the role

Uber is looking for a senior product and commercial lawyer to join its legal team in Santiago, Chile. You will partner with operations and enterprise sales teams to drive the growth of Uber’s Mobility and Delivery services across Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive legal guidance to product and sales teams for the design, rollout, and scaling of Mobility and Delivery offerings.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including Terms & Conditions, to support key partnerships and revenue initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders—operations, policy, compliance, and business leaders—to align legal strategies with commercial priorities.
• Anticipate and manage legal and regulatory exposure, enabling thoughtful risk‑taking that supports long‑term growth.
• Contribute to regional and global projects that shape Uber’s operations in a critical market.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience at a top‑tier law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Strong background in commercial contracts, marketing, consumer law, and international corporate matters.
• Law degree from a Chilean or Argentinian university with excellent academic credentials.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Excellent business judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to make quick decisions in high‑impact situations.
• Enthusiasm for Uber’s mission and growth.
